Absolutely recommendable both on site and ToGo! Very tasty food, competent service and we were able to enjoy a delicious goose meal at home despite the forced closure.

Today finally after a long, long time in Primavera Essen with my better half! My friend's sole was absolutely amazing, in combination with truffle spaghetti in a super fresh version! I myself had the limousine beef fillet with shallot-red wine sauce and gratin etc. Although 130 EUR was going on, but absolutely justified! Please keep it up, Mr. Schmitz !! Great shop in town !!

After walking past many times, we finally went into the Primavera a Merano ..... The waiter seemed very nice and competent - at first! The dishes were Neapolitan fish soups for me and half a lobster with risotto and king prawns for my wife. Wine rose. After the election, people asked twice, "Was it the fish soup and the wine, red or white?" The fish soup came first ... later the lobster and finally the rose wine. The dishes were ok, but unfortunately without that certain "extra" for the price - a shame. When the plates were empty, the waiter came around the corner and presented us with the bread with spreads that were usually served before dinner ..... which, by the way, were really good. And last but not least, the bill came ... it was then crossed with a fork. "The lobster was a whole one, wasn't it?" "Eh, no ...". With the bill they tried to put out another 20 euros ... "The lobster was a whole one, or ..." "Eh, no ..." !!! All in all we saw over the impassability and had a nice evening. The ambience and the atmosphere were there. Hence 2 stars instead of one.

This is our second time here and unfortunately we have been disappointed again. Price and performance do not go together here, and extremely unqualified: a wheat beer with ice cubes ... which of course tasted extremely watery. Allergy information was consistently ignored, so that a dish could not be eaten - you didn't want to discuss it, you are just right. Strange: allergy symptoms come just like that. The waiter was rather annoying - at least that's the impression. Everything really took forever. For us: never again! There are clearly more recommendable locations in Piazza San Lorenzo, where at least price and performance match.

Visited on a day trip to Wuppertal through the recommendation of a very nice older lady and found it to be CLASS! The Greek gentleman, who served us very competently and of course in a friendly manner, made us feel more than just a guest ... drinks great food for us above average! Ambience with a southern touch .... we especially remember the informal conversation with Mr. Schmitz ...... highly recommended, stands up to any comparison of fine dining .... We would love to come back Thank you Helmut

The service is very friendly and helpful, even when it comes to ordering special, vegetarian dishes or special requests. The food was very good, as was the timing of the serving. The desserts are also highly recommended. We will definitely go back.

We were with friends at Primavera and were thrilled. Very friendly and funny waiters, excellent food and delicious wine. Plus a great ambience. We each had a starter as well as different main courses. Everything was perfect, whether pasta, fish or meat. We will be back definitely.

Delicious whole. Unfortunately, she was not quite as tender as we wanted. In sum, but by the deliciously delicious red cabbage with apple pieces and cinnamon flavor and the baked apple a beautiful composition. I would definitely order again. The portions are very rich and we had two of our remnants from yesterday still had a delicious lunch. Thanks to the team. It is also very comfortable and the Christmas decoration was just great.

- Food is good, but, for example, Gnochi with Sauce and Spinach, it's just a big plate with a 'small' portion. Prices, are a little bit overrated (for the food that you get - little, may I say). But, the food it's tasty, nothing to complain there. - Service is good, but could be better (after half an hour of waiting, we've been told that there is no more - a particular type of - fish, then we waited for another half an hour until the food was ready...). - The restaurant is clean and all. But, I would try some other restaurant, next time. Thanks. And Ciao! P.S. I wrote this in English, specially for tourists.
